Captured with the Nikon 50mm prime. I would have used the 70-200mm, but this little fellow let me walk right up to him. I am about a foot from him - very little cropping done to this! Shot at a 60th of a second at f/1.8 with an ISO of 100.

I am not sure why this little guy has a tear coming out of his eye, but it does make for one powerful image, I think. Could be nothing more than a reaction to the dust in the air or maybe an allergy? Do horses get colds? I am not sure - what I am sure of it makes for one thought provoking image, yes?
