So as Mother Nature coated us with a ton of snow - her job isn't through. Now, with the wind, she continues to refine her work of art. This is a small snow dune that has built up in my front yard. A very nice, graphic shot for today . . . and also an experiment in Depth of Field. Shooting at f/2.8 makes everything before and behind my subject out of focus - just how out of focus can be seen in the small band of glistening snow crystals at about the midway point in the shot.
